Request an Appointment

Our patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to respect everyone’s time and strive to stay on schedule while giving our patients the attention and care they deserve. The duration of dental appointments may vary according to a child’s needs and level of cooperation. Inadvertent delays to the schedule can occur to accommodate a child who may require extra attention or a child with a dental emergency. Your patience and understanding is very much appreciated.

Because our practice is limited to children, it is not possible to give everyone appointments in the later afternoon or after school. We like to reserve those hours for older children. We will be happy to provide your child with a signed verification for the appointment which meets California law for a legal school excuse. In our experience, younger children do better in the morning when they are well-rested and alert. Also, we prefer to see children requiring longer appointments in the morning for that same reason.

As a courtesy, our front office coordinator will attempt to confirm your child’s appointment 24 hours in advance. However, we do ask that patients/parents assume responsibility for their appointment times. If you do need to change an appointment, a 24-hour notice is required. This courtesy on your part will allow us to make this time available to patients who could benefit by having treatment done sooner.

A parent (or legal guardian with official documentation) must be present in the office during an initial exam. If a parent/legal guardian cannot be present for additional treatment appointments, the parent/legal guardian must provide written consent indicating the responsible adult who will be accompanying the child to the appointment.
